# Orb: local release-candidate validation — October 2, 2026

The full reproducible gates were run on the current Web3 checkout. This is a local
testnet candidate, not a new public deployment or an independently audited release.
No Git push, production database change, public-wallet transaction or credential
rotation was performed during the full gate run. The later funded contract
rehearsal is recorded separately below.

## Fresh gate results

| Gate | Result | Scope |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `node scripts/check-production.mjs` | 50 / 50 passed | Isolated API/authorization fixtures and real Solidity execution on disposable EVMs |
| `node scripts/check-production-http.mjs` | 30 / 30 report entries passed after the targeted correction below | Migration, production build and 28 local production-server/API/browser suites; public market/RPC reads are read-only |
| `node scripts/check-production-ui.mjs` | 20 / 20 passed | Actual components in browsers; simulated Privy/venue sessions and real local contract execution |
| TypeScript `--noEmit` | Passed | Current source type checking |
| Targeted submission scan with `--history` | No matching patterns in 885 text files and 58 commits | Does not cover all secret formats, binary archives or external provider state |
| `npm audit --omit=dev` | 23 moderate, 0 high, 0 critical | Registry advisories for the resolved production dependencies; not a security guarantee |

The full HTTP attempt initially passed 29 of 30 report entries. The entry-proof
control browser test expected its new community to be visible without expanding
the sidebar's four-community list. The test now follows the actual “See all” action
before opening that community. Its targeted rerun passed against a new disposable
database and the same production build. No application permissions, assertion of
gate behavior or rate limits were weakened. The remaining 29 successful entries
were retained from the full run; this is not a claim that a second full HTTP run
was necessary or performed.

The offline and component-browser reports were fresh full executions, not merges
of prior targeted results. Report timestamps were approximately 22:41–22:46 UTC
on October 2 (19:41–19:46 in São Paulo).

## Reviewable evidence

Ignored local outputs are in `work/production-readiness-2026-10-02/`:

- `offline-results.json`, `http-results.json`, `ui-results.json` and suite logs;
- `audit-candidate.json` for the production dependency audit;
- the source/candidate fingerprint records this mutable checkout without adding
a Git commit or exposing environment files.

Do not publish test databases, private provider settings, logs containing personal
data or signing material. A source fingerprint identifies the checked source; it
is not an audit, publisher signature or public-release identifier. Record the final
deployed commit/build separately after a reviewed deployment.

The direct production dependency flagged by the audit is the Privy React SDK and
its dependency paths. The suggested automatic fix points to an older SDK release;
no force downgrade was applied. Evaluate supported upstream fixes and regression
test any wallet SDK change before commercial mainnet use.

## What remains before submission

1. Review/commit the candidate and prepare the separate Orb testnet release,
migrations, backup and rollback. The normal Orbita service stays separate.
2. Rotate previously exposed provider credentials and revoke old venue keys.
3. Publish the reviewed candidate, then complete the selected flows with two real
Privy accounts, distinct wallets and public testnet receipts. Check real venue
fills, balances and failure recovery; fixtures do not establish those outcomes.
4. Actually retain the capsule on IPFS and verify its availability from another
client. Check the exact Arena version/contracts if onchain gameplay is shown.
5. Run the small user pilot, prepare public source/docs and record the actual demo.

The real-account rehearsal, physical microphone/live/device acceptance, Oracle
restore/load/rollback drill and independent wallet/contract/E2EE review remain
open. No claim of exhaustive testing or commercial production readiness is made.

## Later local UX changes and funded rehearsal

The navigation was simplified to five daily destinations, with searchable Explore
for secondary tools. Wallet and Assistant now live inside Trade, which exposes
four primary tasks and puts its other modes under More tools. Home sessions load
when opened. Expanded community lists no longer sit under the profile footer.

After these changes, TypeScript and a fresh production build passed. The production
responsive and command-palette suites passed on a disposable database. The
usability, assistant-chat, community-trade and Passport continuity component
suites passed. The remaining entries in the earlier full reports were retained;
this was targeted validation, not a new full 50/20/30 execution. Palette assertions
now follow Explore for secondary destinations instead of expecting all features
to remain in the sidebar. Desktop and mobile layouts were also inspected visually.

Two newly funded EOA demo wallets completed the separate [public contract
rehearsal](orb-testnet-rehearsal-2026-10-02.md): 16 successful testnet transactions,
mission payment and independent demo AMM swaps. These results do not close the
real Privy account, venue fill or IPFS availability acceptance items above.
The local UI changes were not pushed or deployed.

## Direct-navigation revision after founder feedback

The following local revision restores all fourteen direct desktop tabs in task
groups. Home now places communities beside compact shortcuts instead of the large
intent selector. The mobile community picker and feature search are retained.
The focused usability suite passed at 1440, 1024 and 390 pixels. Session scheduling,
RSVP, feed follow and receipt-sharing checks also passed on disposable fixtures.
These checks do not assert a fresh full production build or real Privy acceptance.

After a computer interruption, the root TypeScript/Next declarations and ignored
development cache contained null bytes. The damaged files/cache were preserved
in ignored work/ux-restore and restored/regenerated. The independent video output
project remains excluded from the app's TypeScript scope. No database recovery or
production service change was performed.
